What is the origin of your company name? For our founders, Roy Nutt and Fletcher Jones, both young computer analysts working in the aerospace industry when they formed the company, the name Computer Sciences Corporation best explained what the company’s focus was.

What is your main business focus in Fairfax? Worldwide, CSC is a leading global information technology (IT) services company. We are a leader in systems design and integration; IT and business process outsourcing; applications software development; Web and application hosting; and management consulting.
In January 2008, our $14.6 billion corporation announced it would relocate its corporate headquarters to its operational headquarters in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County.
Who are your primary customers? CSC serves just about every agency of the federal government, as well as corporate customers, in financial services, aerospace and defense, healthcare, travel and transportation, retail, high-tech and telecommunications, plus energy and natural resources.
